Abstract

Asit'in etiyolojik klasifikasyonunda serum-asit albumin gradienti en çok güvenilen parametredir. Tüberküloz peritonit nedeni ile gelişen asit düşük albumin gradientli gruptaki nedenlerden birisidir. Burada portal hipertansiyon olmamasına rağmen yüksek gradientli asitle seyreden bir tüberküloz peritonit vakası sunulacaktır.

Could tuberculous peritonitis be associated with high gradient ascites? A case report

Abstract

Serum-ascites albumin gradient is the most reliable parameter in the etiologic classification of ascites. Ascites development due to tuberculous peritonitis is in the class of low serum-ascites albumin gradient. In this article, we present a case of tuberculous peritonitis associated with high serum-ascites albumin gradient but without portal hypertension.
