                            <p>This study examines the air transport disputes between the airlines of the Gulf States (Etihad, Emirates, Qatar Airways) and the airlines of the United States (American, Delta, and United) in the context of fair competition, Open Skies Agreements, and liberalization. In the study, we used the action research method, one of the qualitative research methods, and discussed the economic regulations related to international air transportation. After signing the Open Skies Agreement with the Gulf States, US airlines asked for a review of the agreements, claiming that the state aid and subsidies given by the Gulf States to their airlines distorted the conditions of fair competition. Having been the flag-bearer of the Open Skies Agreements and liberalization, if the United States, backs out of these agreements because fair competition conditions have deteriorated, then it will cause the Open Skies Agreements and liberalization to be viewed with suspicion.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Bu çalışmada Birleşik Arap Emirliklerine ait Etihat, Emirates Havayolları ve Katar’a ait Qatar Havayolları ile Amerika Birleşik Devletlerine ait American, Delta ve United Havayolları arasında havayolu taşımacılığında yaşanan anlaşmazlıklar adil rekabet, Açık Semalar Anlaşmaları ve liberalizasyon bağlamında incelenmiştir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden eylem araştırması yönteminin kullanıldığı araştırmada uluslararası havayolu taşımacılığının bağlı olduğu ekonomik düzenlemeler ele alınmıştır. ABD ile Körfez Ülkeleri arasında imzalanan Açık Semalar Anlaşması-ASA (Open Skies Agreement-OSA) sonrasında ABD’li havayolu şirketleri, Körfez Ülkelerinin kendi havayolu şirketlerine verdikleri devlet yardımı ve sübvansiyonların adil rekabet şartlarını bozduğu iddiası ile anlaşmaların yeniden gözden geçirilmesini istemiştir. Açık Semalar Anlaşmaları ve liberalizasyonun bayraktarlığını yapan ABD’nin adil rekabet şartlarının bozulduğu iddiası ile bu anlaşmalardan geri adım atması ASA ve liberalizasyona şüphe ile bakılmasına sebep olacaktır.</p></abstract>
