Abstract

Bu çalışma misafir konuşmacı destekli öğretim tekniği hakkında öğretmen adaylarının görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada nitel çalışma desenlerinden biri olan durum çalışması (case study) kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada Artvin Çoruh Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliği Ana Bilim Dalı’nda Ülkeler Coğrafyası dersini alan şubelerden birinde bulunan 30 öğretmen adayına teknik uygulanmış, uygulama sonunda 30 öğretmen adayı arasından maksimum çeşitlilik yöntemi ile seçilen 12 öğretmen adayı ile yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme yapılmıştır. Bu görüşmeler sonucunda elde edilen verilerin içerik analizi yapılarak frekans değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda misafir konuşmacı destekli öğretim tekniğinin uygulanması neticesinde öğretmen adayları akademik başarı ve motivasyonlarının arttığını belirtmişler, öğretmen olduklarında da bu tekniği kullanmak istedikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Karmaşık konuları anlaşılabilir hale getirmesi ve yaşayarak öğrenme ortamı sunduğu için farklı derslerde ve konularda misafir konuşmacı destekli öğretim tekniğinin kullanılması önerilir.
