Human beings need to make sense of every situation and phenomenon that they have witnessed and been exposed to, starting from their existence. One of the ways to meet this need is to find reasonable and appropriate reasons for the results they reach. This situation has been the subject of research in many branches of science such as language and philosophy.Cause and effect information that occurs with a real or an appropriate reason for that moment has reflections on language as cause and effect expressions. In order to examine this situation in a broader plane, it is necessary to consider the concept of causality. Two-way cause and effect statements in a sentence established with a causal relationship need causality markers as a third element to establish a structural link. This structure can be provided through affixes or through conjunctions and prepositions, which are lexical morphemes.In this study, the syntax of conjunctions and prepositions, which are lexical causality markers, were tried to be evaluated within the framework of their meanings, structures, and locations. The sample of the study was determined based on the five novels of Ayşe Kulin, one of the last period writers of Turkish literature. The data obtained from the study were revealed through this language material. As a result of these data, ten different syntax structures consisting of two, three and four elements were determined.
İnsanoğlu var oluşundan başlayarak tanık olduğu, maruz kaldığı her durumu ve olguyu anlamlandırma ihtiyacı duyar. Bu ihtiyacı karşılama yollarından biri de ulaştığı sonuçlara uygun ve makul nedenler bulmaktır. Bu durum dil ve felsefe gibi birçok bilim dalına da araştırma konusu olmuştur. Gerçek ya da o an için uygun görülmüş bir neden ile ortaya çıkan neden ve sonuç bilgisinin dildeki yansıması neden sonuç ifadeleridir. Bunu da daha geniş bir düzlemde incelemek için nedensellik kavramını ele almak gerekir. Nedensellik ilişkisi ile kurulmuş bir cümlede yer alan iki yönlü neden ve sonuç ifadeler birbiriyle yapısal bir bağ kurabilmek için üçüncü bir unsur olarak nedensellik işaretleyicilerine gereksinim duyar. Bu yapı ekler vasıtasıyla sağlanabileceği gibi sözlüksel biçimbirimler olan bağlaçlar ve ilgeçler aracılığıyla da sağlanabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada sözlüksel nedensellik işaretleyicileri olan bağlaç ve ilgeçlerin söz dizimindeki durumları; anlamları, yapıları ve konumları çerçevesinde değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemi Türk edebiyatının son dönem yazarları arasında yer alan Ayşe Kulin’in beş romanı esas alınarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen veriler bu dil malzemesi vasıtasıyla ortaya konulmuştur. Bu veriler neticesinde iki, üç ve dört unsurdan oluşan on ayrı söz dizimi yapısı tespit edilmiştir.
