Eski Uygurca Avataṃsaka-sūtra Üzerine Yapılan Çalışmalar

Abstract

Buddhāvataṃsaka-sūtra, Mahāyana Budizmi’nin ve Eski
Uygurcanın en önemli metinlerinden birisidir. Bu çalışmada Buddhāvataṃsaka-sūtra’nın
çeşitli dillerdeki karşılıklarına ve tercümelerine ait bilgilere yer
verilecektir. Metnin Çinceye yapılan çevirilerinden bahsedilecek ve bu
çevirilerin yazıldığı dönem, Taishō’da bulunduğu bölümler ve çeviriyi yapanlara
ait kısa bir özet sunulacaktır. Daha sonrasında metnin Eski Uygurcaya yapılan çevirileri
üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılacak ve bu çevirilerin yapıldığı bölümler, bu
bölümlere ait yazmalar ve yazmaların bulunduğu yerler üzerinde durulacaktır. Ayrıca
Eski Uygurca Buddhāvataṃsaka-sūtra metni üzerine yapılan çalışmalara
değinilecek ve bu çalışmaların künye bilgileri verilecektir.
