Articles are scanned using the İntihal.net program within the Dergipark system during submission. If plagiarism/self-plagiarism is detected, authors are notified, and the article is returned.
Note: Due to the program's default settings, plagiarism rates can be high. At this stage, assistant editors evaluate the adequacy of the report by examining the similarities identified in the report rather than the report's similarity rate. If necessary, assistant editors re-scan the articles using the Turnitin plagiarism screening program. Articles with a similarity rate of at least 15% (excluding bibliographic materials, citations, and minor references of 2%) can continue the process.
