Explanation Regarding Personal Data Protection Law
Within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, it is mandatory for all Public Institutions, Private Sector etc. to make this arrangement in the works and services they carry out. As you know, in our daily lives, these texts are approved by many companies (shopping websites etc.), banks etc. from which we buy products/services, since personal data is used when purchasing the product/service. The relevant regulations in public institutions are only recently becoming available.

The arrangement in this scope was made as a result of the evaluation of our TÜBİTAK Legal Services Presidency, and the Disclosure (Information) Text and Explicit Consent Text protecting the rights and personal data of our users were published in DergiPark. According to the relevant law, arrangements were made in the DergiPark system for our users to have these texts approved.

Our users' Personal Data are used in the User Profile pages in the DergiPark system and when logging into the system. Our users must approve these texts in order to carry out their transactions in the system. There are also foreign authors, referees and editorial board members in DergiPark, which is an open access infrastructure. After the texts are translated into English, the implementation will also be implemented for these users. For this reason, the Clarification text refers to Article 11 of the KVKK. There is access to personal data on DergiPark User Profile pages.

There is no person or organization to which personal data in DergiPark is transferred domestically/abroad. Since this data is used on DergiPark, which is an open platform (where it is used is specified), according to the KVKK law, our users are informed and approved with the relevant texts that the law determines the format of the regulation and that must be approved. The law introduces a regulation that protects the rights of individuals regarding their personal data.
