Dens İnvaginatus: Olgu Sunumu

Year 2018, Volume: 4 Issue: 3, 294 - 297, 01.01.2018

Abstract

Dens Invaginatus: Case Report

Year 2018, Volume: 4 Issue: 3, 294 - 297, 01.01.2018

Abstract

Dens invaginatus or dens in dente is a developmental anomaly of unknown cause and is the result of the tooth germ folding from the peripheral zone towards the pulp during the development period. Dens invaginatus is particularly important as it causes early caries in addition to pulpal and periapical lesions.Dens invaginatus detected in a 27-year-old male patient and the treatment protocol are discussed in this case report
