Güncel Kompozitlerin Farklı Tabakalama Teknikleriyle Uygulanmasının Mikro-sızıntı Üzerine Etkilerinin İncelenmesi

Year 2020, Volume: 6 Issue: 1, 51 - 58, 01.01.2020

Abstract

Amaç: Bu in vitro çalışmanın amacı, boya penetrasyon yöntemini kullanarak inkremental veya bulkfill tekniği ile uygulanan güncel kompozit materyallerin mikro-sızıntı potansiyelini değerlendirmektir. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Yeni çekilmiş 120 adet büyük azı dişe standart Black I kaviteler 3mm x 3mm x 4mm hazırlandı.

Investigation of the Effects of Novel Composites Applied with Different Layering Techniques on Microleakage

Year 2020, Volume: 6 Issue: 1, 51 - 58, 01.01.2020

Abstract

Objective:The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the microleakage potential of novel composite materials applied with either the incremental or bulk fill technique using the dye penetration method. Material and Methods: Standard Black I cavities were prepared 3mm x 3mm x 4mm in 120 freshly extracted molar teeth. A nanohybrid Filtek™ Z550 , a bulk-fill X-tra fil and a ceramic reinforced bulk-fill composite Admira Fusion X-tra were tested. Bulk-fill and incremental application techniques were used as the restoration method. The specimens were randomly separated in 6 groups n=20 and the samples were thermal cycled for 1000 cycles 5ºC-55ºC after the restorative procedures. The microleakage test was applied using 1% methylene blue dye. Sections of the teeth were evaluated under a stereo microscope in terms of the degree of dye penetration. Statistical analyses were conducted with the Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U tests p=0.05 . Results: The relationship between composite resin groups and microleakage results was statistically significant p
