Farklı Beyazlatma Sistemlerinin Etkinliğinin Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı üç farklı beyazlatma sisteminin çekilmiş dişler üzerinde beyazlatma etkinliğinin karşılaştırılmasıdır.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Bu çalışmada 21 adet çekilmiş insan üst keser dişi kullanılmıştır. Örnekler uygulanacak beyazlatma yöntemine göre üç gruba ayrıldı: Ofis Tipi Beyazlatma Ofis %25 hidrojen peroksit içeren Philips Zoom White Speed, Philips Oral Healthcare, Los Angeles, CA, ABD n=7 ; Ev Tipi Beyazlatma Home %16 karbamid peroksit içeren Opalescence PF, UltradentProducts, Inc n=7 ; ve Tezgâh Üstü Ürün OTC White beauty & healthcare GmbH, Almanya n=7 . Beyazlatma işlemine başlamadan önce Vita Easy Shade Spektrofotometre VITA ZahnfabrikH. RauterGmbH& Co.KG, Bad Säckingen, Almanya kullanılarak dişlerin renk ölçümü yapıldı. Beyazlatma işlemleri üretici talimatlarına göre farklı protokollerle yapıldı. Tüm beyazlatma işlemleri bittikten 24 saat sonra renk ölçümleri spektrofotometre ile tekrar yapıldı. Elde edilen veriler ANOVA testi ve Tukey HSD testiyle istatistiksel olarak analiz edildi p3,3 . Ofis beyazlatma sistemi ve tezgâh üstü beyazlatma ürünü arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark gözlenmedi p>0,05 .Sonuç: Evde beyazlatma sisteminin, ofis tipi beyazlatma sistemi ve tezgâh üstü beyazlatma ürünlere kıyasla daha üstün beyazlatma etkinliğine sahip olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır

Comparison of the Effectiveness of Various Whitening Systems

Abstract

Objective: The aim of this study is to compare the bleaching efficiency of three different bleaching systems on extracted teeth.Material and Methods: In this study, 21 extracted human upper incisors were used. Samples were divided into three groups according to the bleaching method to be applied: Office Bleaching Office Philips Zoom White Speed, containing 25% hydrogen peroxide, Philips Oral Healthcare, Los Angeles, CA, USA n=7 ; Home Bleaching Home Opalescence PF, Ultradent Products, Inc., containing 16% carbamide peroxide n=7 ; and Over The Counter OTC White beauty & health care GmbH, Germany n=7 . Color measurements were performed before starting bleaching, by using the Vita Easy shade Spectrophotometer VITA Zahnfabrik H. Rauter GmbH & Co. KG, BadSäckingen, Germany . Bleaching was performed with various protocols according to the manufacturerʼs instructions. Color measurements were repeated 24 hours after the end of all bleaching procedures, by using the spectrophotometer. Data were analyzed statistically with the ANOVA test and Tukey HSD test p3.3 . No statistically significant difference was observed between the office bleaching system and the over the counter bleaching product p>0.05 .Conclusion: It was concluded that the home bleaching system has superior bleaching efficiency compared to the office bleaching system and the over the counter bleaching products
