Abstract

As the transformation process of innovative ideas into the new products, services or new business, entrepreneurship is a significant dynamics element for economic development and growth. The subject of entreprenurship has been connected with several economic parameters so that entrepreneurial performance of an evironment has been viewed as a very important input of the economic decisions there. In this study, first the concepts of entrepreneur and entrepreneurship were defined; and factors effecting entrepreneurship and importance of entreprenurship for economic development have been emphasized. Later, entrpreneurial performance of Afyonkarahisar province has been put on the map by the assistance of geographical information systems on basis of companies in Afyonkarahisar and its districts.

AFYONKARAHİSAR İLİ GİRİŞİMCİLİK PERFORMANSININ COĞRAFİ BİLGİ SİSTEMLERİ İLE ANALİZİ

Abstract

Yenilik düşüncesini yeni bir ürüne, hizmete ya da işe dönüştürme süreci olarak tanımlanan girişimcilik, ekonomik gelişme ve büyüme için çok önemli bir dinamik unsur olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Girişimcilik konusu birçok ekonomik parametreyle ilişkilendirilmiş ve bir çevrenin girişimcilik performansı ekonomik kararlar açısından önemli bir girdi olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle girişimci ve girişimcilik kavramları açıklanmış; girişimciliği etkileyen faktörler ve girişimciliğin ekonomik kalkınmadaki önemi vurgulanmıştır. Daha sonra Afyonkarahisar il merkezinde ve ilçelerinde var olan şirket sayıları temel alınarak coğrafi bilgi sistemleri yardımıyla ilin girişimcilik performansı oluşturulmuştur.
