Abstract
The Western Front, where the important turning points of the Turkish War of Independence were experienced, has an extraordinary place and importance in our history. The gains obtained as a result of the struggles on the Western Front formed the military elements of the process leading to the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. There was no easy process behind these gains. During this period, the supply, subsistence and shipment activities of the Turkish forces behind the front were carried out under extremely difficult conditions. Therefore, the aim of this study has been the works carried out at the point of providing supply, subsistence and shipment activities on the Western Front, as well as the needs, solutions produced and resources used. The sources used in the preparation of the study mainly consist of the Journal of Military History Documents prepared by the Ministry of National Defense Archive and Military History, the Turkish War of Independence Series, the Presidency Republic Archive and research studies on the subject and the main theses in the literature. The method to be followed will be to determine from where, how and how much the needs of the military units at the front are supplied, in what ways these needs are conveyed to the front, and to what extent they are tackled and resolved in this process, in line with the aforementioned sources.
