Year 2022, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 297 - 310, 30.11.2022

Abstract

An overview of revision process within the context of writing models

Year 2022, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 297 - 310, 30.11.2022

Abstract

Revision is one of the critical stages of the writing process. It is necessary to explain the revision process in order to understand the author, the writing process, and the dynamics of
the writing skill. The purpose of this research is to explain the revision skill within the framework of writing models. In this direction, firstly, a short literature information was formed around the
answers to the questions of what, why and who about the revision skill, and then a synthesis was tried to be reached by explaining this process based on some writing models. It is thought that this
synthesis will allow a better understanding of the basic principles of the writing process.
