                                                                                                <abstract><p>Çalışmanın konusu, ilköğretim matematik öğretmen adaylarının matematiksel dayanıklılık kavramını oluşturan bileşenler hakkında görüşlerinin neler olduğuna dair bilgi sahibi olmaktır. Çalışmanın amacı, ilköğretim matematik öğretmen adaylarının matematiksel dayanıklılık kavramına yönelik düşüncelerinin belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenemenoloji (olgubilim) deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya OrtaAnadolu’da bir üniversitede öğrenim gören 44 ilköğretim matematik öğretmenliği ikinci sınıf öğretmen adayları katılmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri 5 (beş) açık uçlu sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış yazılı görüş formu yoluyla toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın verileri içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre adayların çoğunluğunun gelişen zihniyete sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca adayların tamamının matematiğe, günlük yaşamda kullanımı, diğer bilimlerle ilişkisi, kültürel değişimi ve doğadaki yeri açısından önem verdiği tespit edilmiştir. Buna ek olarak adayların tamamı matematik çalışırken zorluk yaşamanın doğallığından bahsederken, bir kısmı zorluğun nedenlerine, bir kısmı da zorluğun aşılmasına dair görüş belirtmişlerdir. İlköğretim matematik öğretmen adaylarının çoğunluğu matematikte kesinlikle destek alınmalıdır darken bir kısmı da destek alınabilir şeklinde yanıt vermişlerdir. Adayların çoğunluğu matematiğe çalışırken sahip olunması gereken duygu ve düşünceleri için inanç, sabır ve azim gibi çeşitli düşüncelerini ifade etmişlerdir.</p></abstract>
