Abstract

Abstract

Spirituality is one of the most important sources of meaning that people use to answer their existential questions and to build values about what kind of life they want to live. These resources can be created with God, what you listen to, or completely secular contexts, as well as with the person's relationship with himself and others (society). Spirituality will have a life of their own; different forces, meanings, and functions may correspond to communities/societies beliefs and actions toward social justice. Despite this, the potential of spirituality in departments in the field of social work to demonstrate the understanding of social justice is not sufficiently addressed. In the macro level social work interventions of these structures, spirituality; It is discussed how it can contribute to approaching loggers holistically, empowering them and sustaining beliefs in social justice; The spiritual foundations of the social justice document are discussed in four areas: social work management in organizations, ecological social work, social work education and working with disadvantaged people.
