Bunun için az ve yerel olarak yap ı lan bitkisel boyac ı l ı k günümüzde yeniden önem kazanm ış t ı r. Bu ara ş t ı rmada ı slah edilmi ş yerli ve yabanc ı orijinli 3 çeş it aspir ile bunlardan geli ştirilmi ş bir hat kullanarak mordans ı z ve mordanl ı boyama yöntemi uygulanm ış toplam 52 adet boyama yap ı lm ışt ı r. Elde edilen renkler üzerinde hali ve kilimde önemli olan ışı k ve sürtünme hasl ı k tayinleri yap ı larak bütün aspir çe ş itleri ışı k hasl ı k değ erlerinin 2 ile 6, sürtünme hasl ı k değerlerinin de 1-2 ile 4-5 aras ı nda değ i ş tiğ i saptanm ış t ı r.
Dying of the wool yarn used for hand woven carpets increased the domestic and froeing market demands. For this reason in recent years the sutudies were carried on the extension and development of dying procedures which were practised locally and nationlly. In this research; three varieties and one line developed from both native and foreing safflower variesies. By using this varieties, wool carpet yarns were dyed by dying techiques with in mordant and without mordand and totaly 52 unit dying were performed. Light and friction fassness, which is important for carpets and rugs, of colours obtained were performed and for all safflower varieties light fastness values were found to be respectively 2 to 6, friction fastness values were foun to be respectively 1 to 2 and 4 to 5.
