Differential diagnosis of meniscus lesions

Year 1988, Volume: 22 Issue: 5, 209 - 212, 11.09.2006

Abstract

Although meniscus lesions can be seen as isolated lesions they are frequently accompained by capsular, ligamentous and articular surface lesions. Therefore, in order to reduce the ratio of mistakes in the diagnosis the subject should always be appoached from different aspects and apart from cilinical examiniation the patients should be considered for more advanced methods of investigation as arthrogaphy, arthroscophy, computed tomography and MRI. Meanwhile, in patients who complain of locking, the abnormalities which can cause true or pseudo-locking should always be remembered.

Menisküs lezyonlarında ayırıcı tanı

Year 1988, Volume: 22 Issue: 5, 209 - 212, 11.09.2006
