Pulse electromagnetic fields in the treatment of ununited fractures and results

Year 1992, Volume: 26 Issue: 3, 141 - 146, 11.09.2006

Abstract

18 ununited fractures were treated by electrical stimulation using pulsing electromagnetic fields between 1986-1990. An average of 11.2 months had elapsed since fracture and the use of pulsing electromagnetic fields. Union was achived in 17 cases (94. 4 per cent) in a median time of 5. 7 months. Previous or active sepsis, the age of the patient or the time since the injury did not affect the results.

Kırıklarda kaynama gecikmesi ve kaynama yokluğu tedavisinde darbeli elektromagnetik alan uygulaması ve sonuçları

Year 1992, Volume: 26 Issue: 3, 141 - 146, 11.09.2006
