Injury to branchial plexus resulting from birth traumas

Abstract

At 14 cases which involved with obstetrical brachial plexus palsy were represented. It occurs more often during breech deliveries and in large infants in difficult deliveries. Sponton recovery is greater in upper plexus than in whole or lower plexus injuries.

Abstract

Doğum travmasına bağlı brakial pleksus zedelenmesi bilhassa güç doğumlarda, doğum ağırlığı fazla olan çocuklarda rastlanan ortopedik problemlerden biridir. Kliniğimizde 1978-1980 yılları arasında görülen 14 doğum travmasına bağlı brakial pleksus zedelemesi değerlendirilip sunulmuştur.
