Abstract
After reminding the general principles of open fracture teratment, the special problems of the open fractures of tibial shaft are discussed. Open fractures of the tibia are divided into three categories, according to the severity of the soft tissue damages the ways of the treatment are reviewed for each category.

Açık kırık tedavisinin genel prensipleri hatırlatıldıktan sonra tibia açık kırılarının özellikleri ele alındı. Tibia diafizinin açık kırıkları üç dereceye ayrılarak herbirinin tedavisinde takip edilecek yol üzerinde duruldu.
