Repository and Data Distribution Policy

The editor ensures that published material is securely archived. Artuklu International Journal of Health Sciences sends the articles published by the International Journal of Health Sciences to electronic archives and makes them available for full access, on an open access basis, without the need for any action by the author(s). The author or funding organization may upload a copy of the author's accepted manuscript to archival sites. The Artuklu International Journal of Health Sciences author license permits reuse with attribution to the source of the article (with full citation) for non-commercial use only. For commercial use, permission is required from the Authors.

Artuklu International Journal of Health Sciences undertakes to keep all its articles open access under the CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and to store the full text content in archive platforms and on its own website.

1) Articles published in Artuklu International Journal of Health Sciences are digitally archived in LOCKSS. In addition, published articles can be accessed by the author in the institutional archives of the university where he/she works (DSpace, AVESIS, etc.), subject archives or any other archive without an embargo period. Thus, everyone can access this publication immediately, free of charge.
2) Artuklu International Journal of Health Sciences offers authors the opportunity to self-archive an article (author's personal website, social media accounts) and/or post it in an institutional repository (DSpace, AVESIS etc.) allows the use of the final published version of the article for archiving.
3) Authors can self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives. There is no embargo period, but the published source must be specified and a link must be set to the journal home page or the DOI of the articles.
4) Authors and readers can download the PDF file of the article.
5) Artuklu International Journal of Health Sciences allows the creation of permanent archives. It uses the LOCKSS system to allow. Based at Stanford University Libraries, the LOCKSS program provides libraries and publishers with award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to provide access to permanent and authoritative digital content. The LOCKSS program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of “ensuring the security of large numbers of copies.” The LOCKSS program develops and supports libraries using open source end-to-end digital preservation software.

All expenses of Artuklu International Journal of Health Sciences are covered by Mardin Artuklu University. Article publication and article processing in the journal are not subject to a fee. No processing fees or submission fees are charged for articles sent to the journal or accepted for publication. Artuklu International Journal of Health Sciences does not accept sponsorships and advertisements in accordance with its publication policies.It is an alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies the authors.
