Klasik Türk edebiyatı altı yüz yılı aşkın bir süre zarfında ortaya koyduğu eserleri ile edebiyat tarihinin önemli bir bölümünü meydana getirmektedir. Bu edebiyat dairesi içerisinde çok göz önünde olmasa da mensur eserlerin başarılı bir yapıt olmasında edebî tasvîr hususu önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Mensur hikâyeler kaleme alındıkları dönemin siyasi, sosyal, kültürel özellikleri hakkında önemli bilgiler de sunmaktadır. Bu unsurlar verilirken anlatımın güçlü ve etkileyici olmasına özen gösterilmiş ve ona göre anlatım tercihlerine gitmişlerdir. Çünkü müellif/mütercimin üslubuna, daha doğrusu yapacağı kelime tercihi için göstermiş olduğu özene bağlamak mümkündür. Bu çalışmada klasik Türk edebiyatı mensur hikâye geleneği çerçevesinde kaleme alınan hikâye metinlerinde yapılan tasvirlerin tasnifi ve yönü üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmada ilk olarak farklı dönemlere ait hikâye külliyatları titizlikle taranmış ve hikâyeler içerisindeki tasvir örnekleri derlenip fişlenmeye gayret edilmiştir. Daha sonrasında fişlenen örneklerin türleri belirlenip tasnif edilmiş ve eldeki örneklerin gruplandırılma aşamasına geçilmiştir. Bu bağlamda hikâye külliyatlarındaki tasvirlerin genel olarak Mekân Tasviri, Olay Tasviri, Toplantı/Meclis Tasviri, Kişi Tasviri, Psikolojik Tasvir, Fiziksel Tasvir, Olağanüstü Tasvir, Zaman Tasviri başlığı altında toplanmış ve çalışma bu doğrultuda ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma boyunca tetkik ve tespit edilen edebî bulgular, dil ve anlatım alanındaki değişim ve gelişimi ifade etmesi açısından büyük bir önem taşıdığı görülmüştür.
Classical Turkish literature constitutes the most important part of the history of literature with its works produced over a period of more six hundred years. Prose works have an important place in this literary, although they are not very visible. Prose stories also provide important information about economic social and cultural characteristics of the period in were are author. While presenting these elements, care was taken to ensure that the narrative was strong accordingly. Because it is possible to attribute it to the author / translator's style, or more precisely, to the care she has shown in her word choice. This study focuses on the classification and direction of the depictions in the story texts written within the framework of the prose story tradition of classical Turkish literature. In the study, firstly, story collections from different periods were meticulously scanned and examples of depictions were compiled and recorded. Afterwards, the types of the recorded samples were determined and classified. In this context, the descriptions in the story collections are generally grouped under the headings of Place Description, Event Description, Meeting/Assembly Description, Person Description, Psychological Description, Physical Description, Extraordinary Description, Time Description and the study has been tried to be presented are literature is recommended developed literary findings examined and identified the study have a great importance in terms of expressing the change and develeopment in the field of language and expression.
