                                                                                                <abstract><p>Beden dili terimi, günümüzde yüz ifadelerinden, bakışlara, jestlere, duruşa ve bedensel temasa kadar pek çok unsuru kapsamaktadır. Konuşmadaki duraklamalar, yüz kızarması gibi kontrolsüz vücut ifadeleri ve ayrıca kişinin durumunu, kültürünü, ruh halini ve tutumunu ifade eden giyim, saç, takı ve diğer unsurlar yoluyla yansıtılan, bireyin “statik” görsel özellikleri de beden dilinin parçasıdır (Hrisca, 2011). Bilgisayar aracılı iletişim yaygınlaştıkça bireylerin kişilerarası iletişimde başvurduğu yollar da değişmeye başlamıştır. Sosyal medya araçlarında kullanılan emojiler, oyunlarda kullanılan avatarların görünüm ve hareketleri, video aracılı iletişim platformlarında kullandığımız ifadeler, efektler ve arka plan görünümleri beden dili, jest ve mimiklerin yerini almış durumdadır. Çevrim içi iletişimde kullanılan beden dili ve ifade biçimleri “dijital retorik” (Porter, 2009) ve “dijital beden dili” (Dhawan, 2009) gibi kavramlarla tanımlanmaktadır. Söz konusu kavramlar; hem yazı dilinde dikkat edilmesi gereken unsurları, hem dijital becerileri, hem de sosyal medya araçlarının kullanımındaki becerileri kapsamaktadır. Dijital iletişimin etkin bir şekilde kurulabilmesi için; mesajın görünür ve anlaşılır olması, etkileşimin doğru zamanda doğru aracı kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmesi, görsel kodların yerinde kullanılıp yorumlanabilmesi ve kullanıcının teknik yeterliliklere sahip olması gerekmektedir. Bir alanyazın taraması olan bu makalede; sosyal medya ve sosyal ağlarda dokunma, koku alma ve hissetme gibi duyuların eksikliğine rağmen kullanıcıda bir algı ve izlenim oluşturan dijital beden dilinin öğeleri ele alınırken, çevrim içi ortamda gerçekleşen sözsüz iletişimin kullanımı örnekler üzerinden tartışılmaktadır.</p></abstract>

                            <p>The term body language today includes many elements from facial expressions to looks, gestures, posture and physical contact. At the same time; It includes uncontrolled body expressions such as pauses in speech, facial flushing, as well as “static” visual characteristics of the individual, reflected through clothing, hair, jewelry and other elements that express the person&#039;s situation, culture, mood and attitude (Hrisca, 2011). As computer-mediated communication becomes more widespread, the ways people use interpersonal communication have also begun to change. Emojis used in social media tools, the appearance and movements of avatars used in games, expressions, effects and background views we use in video-mediated communication platforms have replaced body language, gestures and facial expressions. Body language and expression styles used in online communication are defined by concepts such as “digital rhetoric” (Porter, 2009) and “digital body language” (Dhawan, 2009). The concepts in question are; it covers both the elements to be considered in written language, digital skills and skills in the use of social media tools. In order to establish digital communication effectively; the message must be visible and understandable, the interaction must be carried out using the right tool at the right time, visual codes must be used and interpreted on the spot, and the user must have technical competence. In this article which is a literature review; while discussing the elements of digital body language that create a perception and impression in the user despite the lack of senses such as touch, smell and feeling in social media and social networks, it’s use is discussed through the examples.</p></trans-abstract>
