Turizmitüm yıla yaymak için geliştirilen stratejilerin odak noktasını turizm çeşitlendirmeçalışmaları oluşturmaktadır. Bir turizm çeşidi olan inanç turizmi son yıllardadünya ve ülkemizde gelişme göstermektedir. İnanç turizminde, turistlerinandıkları dinlerin kutsal merkezlerine ziyaret gerçekleştirmektedirler. ÜlkemizdeMusevilik, Hristiyanlık ve İslam dini için önemli birçok mekan bulunmaktadır. İncilyazarı St. Jean sürgündeyken Batı Anadolu’da 7 cemaate mektuplar yazmıştır. Bumektuplarda adı geçen ve kıyamette ayakta kalacağına inanılan 7 cemaate ithafenyapılan kiliselere ise Apokaliptik Kiliseler denilmektedir. Batı Anadolu’da bulunanve İncil’de adı geçen yedi kilise Hristiyanlar için çok önemlidir. Çalışmanınamacı inanç turizmi kapsamında yedi kilisenin oluşumunu anlamak, cemaatlere ithafedilen yapıları belirlemek, yapılara koruma önerileri geliştirmek ve turizm açısındanincelenmesi olmaktadır. Çalışmanın yöntemi arkeolojik kazılar,restorasyon-konservasyon uygulamaları ve literatür taraması şeklindedir. Çalışmanınsonucunda literatür verileri, arkeolojik veriler ve restorasyon-konservasyonuygulamalarının sonuçlarından elde edilen bulgular turizm, arkeoloji verestorasyon kapsamında yorumlanarak öneriler sunulmaktadır.
Tourismdiversification efforts are the focus of the strategies developed to spreadtourism throughout the year. As a branch of tourism, faith tourism has beendeveloping in the world and our country in recent years. In faith tourism,tourists visit the sacred centers of the religions they believe in. There aremany important places in our country for Judaism, Christianity and Islam. SaintJean who was an evangelist, wrote letters to seven congregations in WesternAnatolia while he was in exile. The churches built and dedicated to the 7congregations mentioned in these letters, and believed to survive in theapocalypse are called Apocalyptic Churches. The seven churches in WesternAnatolia, which are mentioned in the Bible, are very important for Christians.The aim of the study is to understand the formation of seven churches withinthe context of faith tourism, to determine the structures dedicated to thecongregations, to develop protection proposals for buildings and to examinethem from the point of view of tourism. The method of the study isarchaeological excavations, restoration-conservation practices and literaturereview. In results section, the findings obtained from the literature reviewdata, archaeological data and restoration-conservation applications areinterpreted in terms of tourism, archeology and restoration, then, somesuggestions are presented.
