Covid-19 Salgını İçin Aşı Çalışmaları İncelemesi

Abstract

Beta-koronavirüs grubunda yer alan yeni SARS-CoV-2’nin 2019’da Wuhan’da
ortaya çıktığına inanılmakta ve virüsün tür engelini aşarak, insandan insana
bulaş yeteneği kazandığı düşünülmektedir. Beta-koronavirüsler türler arasında
sıçramış ve son yirmi yılda SARS CoV (2002-03), MERS-CoV (2012) ve SARSCoV-
2 (2019’dan bugüne) olmak üzere üç zoonotik salgına neden olmuştur.
Koronavirüs ailesinde önceki yıllara ait veriler ve SARS-CoV-2’ye ilişkin
güncel bilgiler, zoonotik bulaş olaylarının gelecekte de meydana gelebileceğini
düşündürmektedir. Bu çalışma, salgının yayılım hızını azaltmak amacıyla aşı
çalışmalarının durumu hakkında yapılan araştırmaların güncel derlemesini ortaya
koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır.
