RUSYA’NIN DEMİR VE ÇELİK SEKTÖRÜNDEKİ İHRACAT REKABET GÜCÜNÜN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Demir ve çelik sektörü Rusya sanayisinin önemli bir kolunu oluşturmaktadır. Son 20 yıllık dönemde demir ve çelik ürünleri ihracatı 2 kattan fazla bir artış göstermiştir. Demir ve çelik ürünleri ihracatından sağlanan gelir 2019 yılında 18 milyar dolara ulaşmıştır (bu rakam 2001 yılında 5,5 milyar dolar idi). Günümüzde Rusya demir ve çelik ürünleri ihracatçısı ülkeleri arasında yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmanın ana amacı 2001-2019 dönemi için Rusya’nın demir ve çelik ihracatında rekabet gücünü belirlemektir. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler Uluslararası Ticaret Merkezi’nden derlenmiştir. Araştırmada Açıklanmış Karşılaştırmalı Üstünlükler indeksi ve Açıklanmış Simetrik Karşılaştırmalı Üstünlükler indeksi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre Rusya demir ve çelik ihracatında rekabet gücüne sahiptir. Rusya’nın demir ve çelik ticaretindeki uluslararası rekabet gücünün arttırılması için üretimde kalite ve teknolojiye önem verilmelidir.
