Abstract

Sağlık hizmetleri diğer sektörlerden çok farklı özelliklere sahip, odak noktası insan ve toplum sağlığı olan bir sektördür. Sağlık hizmetleri sektörü, özellikleri gereği diğer hizmet sektörlerinden daha fazla toplumu etkileyen, dışsallık durumu yüksek bir sektör olması, sağlığa ayrılan payın yüksek olması ve toplumun her kesimi tarafından kullanılan ve ihtiyaç duyulması nedeniyle, talebe etki eden faktörler önem arz etmektedir. İnsanların sağlık hizmetlerine olan taleplerini belirlemek, hizmet sunumu, planlaması ve sağlık yönetimi açısından oldukça önemlidir.

FACTORS AFFECTING DEMAND IN HEALTH SERVICES

Abstract

Health services is a sector with very different characteristics from other sectors, and the focus of its target is human and public health. It is important to know the factors affecting demand, since the share allocated to health is high and it is a sector with a high externality that affects the society as well as the service areas due to its characteristics.
The aim of the study is to determine how the demand in health services is affected and how it emerges. Determining people's demands for health services is very important in terms of service delivery, planning and health management.
In the study, the concept of demand in health services was explained, the studies in the literature were summarized, 64 studies carried out in 41 different countries and 24 studies conducted in our country were compared and the results were interpreted. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that the most important factor affecting the demand for health services in our country and other countries is income level, there are changes in the second and third important factors, and some factors do not have a common feature in terms of Turkey and other countries.
