                                                                                                                        <abstract><p>İnfertilite çoğunlukla tıbbi bir hastalık veya anormali olarak tanımlansa da infertilitenin birey ve çiftler üzerindeki etkileri daha çok tarihsel, kültürel, sosyo-politik yapılardan kaynaklanmaktadır. Ataerkil toplumlarda infertilite bireylerin çocuksuzluk nedeniyle toplumsal cinsiyet rol beklentilerini karşılayamamaları anlamına gelmektedir. Tıp alanındaki gelişmeler infertilitede erkeklerin rolünün de olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Ancak, infertilite birçok toplumda bir kadın sorunu olarak görülmeye devam etmektedir. Toplumsal cinsiyetin infertil kadınlar üzerinde baskı ve damgalanma, terk edilme ve boşanma, çokeşlilik, ev içi şiddet gibi sonuçları olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada infertil kadınların yaşadıkları sorunlar feminist perspektif ile ele alınmıştır. Kadınların yaşadıkları sorunları ortadan kaldırmaya yönelik feminist mücadele kadınların bilinçlenmesi, toplumsal konumlarının iyileşmesi ve güçlenmesine dayanmalıdır. Gerçekleştirilecek feminist mücadeledeinfertil kadınlar, eşleri, geniş aile üyeleri ve tıp uzmanlarıyla çalışılmalıdır. Mikro düzeyde danışmanlık hizmetleri verilmeli, mezzo düzeyde feminist grup çalışması yapılmalı, makro düzeyde infertil kadınlara yönelik ataerkil baskıyı sonlandırabilecek politika ve uygulamalar hayata geçirilmelidir.</p></abstract>
