Abstract

Eğitimin bireyi bir bütün olarak ele alması nedeniyle beden eğitiminin de temel yaklaşımı, insanı bir
bütün olarak ele almak olmalıdır. Beden eğitiminin bu amaçlan gerçekleştirirken araç olarak da insanın
doğasında olan hareketleri kullandığı bilinmektedir.
Günümüzde sayıları 62'ye ulaşan beden eğitimi öğretmen1ıği bölümleri, beden eğitimi öğretmeni
açığını kapatırken., bir takım sorunları da beraberinde getirmektedir. Bu sorunlar genellikle bölümlerin
araç-gereç, tesis, malzeme eksikliği ile birlikte alanda yetişmiş olan öğretim elemanlannm eksikliği
olarak göze çarpmaktadır.
Bu çalışmada geliştiri~en anket Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi, Eğitim Fakültesi Beden Eğitimi
ve Spor ÖğretmenliğiBölümü öğrencilerinin tamamına uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada sonuç olarak, beden
eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni adaylarının %61,2'slnin Çanakkale ilinden olduğu,çoğunluğunun branşlannın
futbol (%33,1) ve basketbol (%17,4) olduğu, orta düzeyaile gelirine sahip (%87,6) ve %76'sınlO özel
yetenek sınavlarına bir grupla hazırlanıp bu bölümlere girdikleri tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının
çoğunluğu, tesis ve malzemelerinin (%74,4) azlığından bah5ederlerken, bölümde yeterli öğretim
elemanının buluıımadığını (%58,7) belirtmişlerdir.

ABSTRACT
Since education regards hurrran as a whole, basic approaeh of physical trainiog should be regarding
human as a whole. lt is known that while performing these purposes, physical education use the tool of
movements which are existing in the nature of human being.
Recently, physical training and sports education departments have reached the number of 62, overcome
the teacher deficit. While overcoming the teacher deficit, this situation brings same type of problems
along with itself. These problems generaııy observes as lack of equipments, materials and department
facilities and deficiency of acadcmicions that study in the field.
The questionnaire that developed for the study was applied to all students of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart
University, Faculty of Education, Department of Physical Training and Sport Edueation. it has
determined that 61.2% of physical education and sport teacher candidates from Çanakkale most of their
sports are football(33.1 %) and basketball(17.4%) and mast of them (87.6%) are from middle class and
76% of them joioed the department by group preparation for the special talent exam. Mast of the
teacher eandidates stated that lack of facilities and equipments (74.4%) and academicions(58.7%).
