SUMMARY
In this studny, the effect of sex and the field on the psychological need fatterns of university studends. The
goal of the studny is to ascertain whether the psychological need patterns of the ones taking education in the
field of GPA Department change ar not.
The fatterns of the research consist of 140 students including 59 students from Guidance and Psychological
Advisery Department, 81 from Priwary School Teaching Deparlment, and 70 of them are fomale and 70 of
male.
In the research, Edwards Personal Preferance Inventory, adapted by Kuzgun, and Parsonallnformation From,
prepared by IIgar, hawe been used. The data acquired have been analyzed in the environment of computer
thraugh SPSS programme.
Accarding to research findings we may say that GPA Deparlment Students attach importance to under
standing the psychological needs suc has the feelings, change, emphaty, help the others, and sympathy
