Purpose: In the patients wearing complete ndenture, the psychological factors are very important on acceptance of complete dentures and for their own denture satisfaction. The aim of this study was to investigate effect of perceived social support for family and coping strategy of stressors on complete denture satisfaction in two groups of patient who are living different region. Material and Methods: The study was included totally 84 patients who applied Faculties of Dentistry, Çukurova and Atatürk University. In this study, the patient’s data were collected with using Perceived Social Support for Family (PSS-Fa) and Coping Strategy Indicator (CSI).Results: The results of analysis of KruskalWallis were shown that there was a statistically significantly correlation between level of patient’s satisfaction and PSS-Fa, problem solving and social support strategy. According to this study results, there was a positive correlation between level of patient’s satisfaction and PSS-Fa, problem solving and social support strategy and was negative correlation with avoidance strategy.Conclusion: It is suggested that the researches about this topic should be facilitated

Amaç: Hastalar&n tam proteze daha kolay uyum sa7lamas&psikolojik faktörler son derece önemlidir. Bu ara t&rma; iki farkl& bölgede ya ayan hasta gruplar&nda tan&mlay&c&olarak; aileden alg&lanan sosyal destek ve stresle baetme stratejilerinin tam protez memnuniyeti üzerine etkisini incelemeyi amaçlamaktad&r.Gereç ve Yöntem: Çukurova ve Atatürk Üniversitesi Ditoplam 84 tam protez hastas& ara t&rman&n kapsam&n&olu turdu. Hastalara ait veriler Aileden Alg&lanan Sosyal Destek Ölçe7i, Stresle Ba a Ç&kma Stratejileri Ölçe7i (CSI) ve hasta memnuniyetini de7erlendirmek amac&yla Görsel Analog Ölçe7i (VAS) kullan&larak topland&.Bulgular: Kruskal-Wallis test sonuçlar&; genel memnuni- yet düzeylerine göre PSS-Fa, problem çözme ve sosyal destek arama ortalama da7&l&mlar&n&nistatistiksel olarak önemli bir ili ki gösterdi. Protez memnuniyeti ile aileden alg&lanan sosyal destek, problem çözme ve sosyal destek arama stratejileri aras&nda pozitif, kaç&nma stratejisi aras&nda negatif bir ili ki bulundu.
