Art Journal is the publication of Atatürk University Faculty of Fine Arts. It is a national, scientific and refereed journal. The journal, which has been publishing twice a year since 1999, is published in March and October.

Manuscripts to be submitted to the journal for publication should not have been previously published in another journal and sent for publication. The format of the articles should be arranged according to the writing rules approved by the journal editorial board.

The editorial board is entitled not to publish articles that are not suitable for publication conditions by the referee board, to return them to the author for correction, to edit them in style and to correct or shorten them. Submitted articles will not be returned whether they are published or not. In the Art Journal, the double-blind referee system is used, where the names of the referees and authors are kept confidential.

Any legal responsibility regarding the content of the published articles belongs to the author. Sanat Magazine reserves the right to make corrections in the submitted articles, to publish or not to publish the articles. Release of Turkey Turkish and English languages.
Articles must be sent via DergiPark. The copyright transfer form must be filled in for the articles submitted to the journal. No copyright is paid for articles. The articles are scanned in an internationally recognized similarity program after technical control. Articles exceeding the similarity rate limit will be rejected without being directed to the referee. Manuscripts that pass the plagiarism examination are sent to at least two referees related to their field. After the changes requested in line with the recommendations of the referees are made by the authors, the publication of the articles is approved. The articles with negative referee evaluation are sent to a third referee for final evaluation.
Submitted articles must not have been published elsewhere before. Unpublished symposium papers can be published provided that this situation is clearly stated.
