$WWLWXGHV 7RZDUGV )DPLO\ 3ODQQLQJ RI :RPHQ $QG $IIHFWLQJ )DFWRUV Objective: The purpose of the research is to determine the family planning attitudes of women that apply to the family planning policlinics and affecting factors Methods: This study was conducted as a descriptive research study in the FP Policlinic of a Women’s Health Education and Research Hospital under the Ministry of Health in the period between 03.10.2011 and 31.12.2011. 903 women that applied to the FP policlinic within the specified period were included in the scope of the research. The research data demonstrated of alpha probability of 0.05 and power of 0.90. Data Collection Form and Family Planning Attitude Scale (FPAS) were used for data collection.It were got permission for research from ethics board and the relevant institutions.It is provided that voluntary participation by taking the consent of the participants. The data were evaluated in electronic environment. Descriptive statistics, variance analysis, T-test and Chi-square significance tests were used for the evaluation of the data. The significance level in the statistical analysis was set as p< 0.05.Results: The average age of the women participating in the research was 33.13±7.54, the average age of marriage was 20.44±4.18. The average number of pregnancies of the women was 2.77±1.64, the average number of births was 2.05±0.99, and the average number of surviving children was 1.99±0.92. The highest score average possible in the FPAS was 152; whereas in this study, it was found to be 130.72±26.10. The women scored 59.13±12.25 in the “Attitude of the Society towards Family Planning” sub-dimension; 41.41±9.46 in the “Attitude towards Family Planning Methods” sub-dimension; and 30.18±7.24 in the “Attitude towards Birth” sub-dimension of the FPAS. Conclusion: Our study revealed that the attitudes of women towards FP were positive, but not at a desired level
ÖZET
Amaç: Araştırma, Aile Planlaması (AP) polikliniğine başvuran kadınların AP’ye ilişkin tutumlarını ve bunu etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu araştırma 03.10.2011-31.12.2011 tarihleri arasında Sağlık Bakanlığı’na bağlı bir Kadın Sağlığı Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi AP Polikliniği’nde yapılmıştır. Belirtilen tarihlerde AP polikliniğine başvuran 903 kadın çalışma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri 0,05 hata düzeyinde 0.90 güç ile ortaya konmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında Veri Toplama Formu ve Aile Planlaması Tutum Ölçeği (APTÖ) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın yapılabilmesi ilgili kurumdan ve etik kuruldan izin alınmıştır. Katılımcıların onamları alınarak gönüllü katılımları sağlanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesi bilgisayar ortamında yapılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, varyans analizi, t testi ve ki-kare önemlilik testleri kullanılmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerde önemlilik düzeyi p< 0.05 olarak alınmıştır.
Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan kadınların yaş ortalaması 33.13±7.54, ortalama evlilik yaşları 20.44±4.18’dir. Kadınların ortalama gebelik sayısı 2.77±1.64, ortalama doğum sayısı 2.05±0.99 ve ortalama yaşayan çocuk sayısı 1.99±0.92’dir. APTÖ’nden alınabilecek en yüksek puan ortalaması 152 iken, bu çalışmada 130.72±26.10 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Kadınların APTÖ’nin alt boyutlarından olan “Toplumun Aile Planlamasına İlişkin Tutumu” alt boyutundan 59.13±12.25, “Aile Planlaması Yöntemlerine İlişkin Tutumu” alt boyutundan 41.41±9.46, “Doğuma İlişkin Tutumu” alt boyutundan 30.18±7.24 puan aldıkları saptanmıştır.
Sonuçlar: Çalışmada kadınların AP’ye ilişkin tutumlarının olumlu olduğu ancak istenen düzeyde olmadığı saptanmıştır.
