                                                                                                <abstract><p>Günümüzde örgütlerin çevrelerindeki hızlı değişimlereadapte olabilmeleri için değişim gerekliliği neredeyse tartışmasız kabuledilmektedir. Örgütlerin değişimi başarılı bir şekilde gerçekleştirebilmesindeetkili olan birçok faktör vardır. Bu faktörlerden biri olarak çalışanlarındeğişime yönelik tutumları bu sürecin sonucunu belirleyecek önemli bir unsurolarak değerlendirilmektedir. Çalışanların değişimi olumlu algılaması vedeğişime gönüllü olması onların değişime açık olmaları ile açıklanmaktadır. Diğertaraftan, hızla değişen çevrede çalışanların önceki bilgi ve deneyimleriyleyeni sorunlara çözüm bulmaları pek mümkün görünmemektedir. Bu yöndeki bireğilim örgütsel atalet kavramını gündeme getirmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temelamacı, çalışanların örgütsel değişime açıklıkları ile örgütsel atalet düzeyleriarasında bir ilişki olup olmadığını incelemektir. Bu çerçevede nicel araştırmayöntemleri uygulanarak, 303 üniversite çalışanından oluşan örneklem üzerindeçeşitli analizler yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın en önemli bulgusu, örgütseldeğişime açıklık ile örgütsel atalet arasında negatif bir ilişki olduğununtespit edilmesidir. &amp;nbsp;</p></abstract>
