Toklularda Karayolu ile Taşımanın Oksidan-Antioksidan Sistem Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract
Bu çalışmada, toklularda karayolu ile 5, 10 ve 24 saat süreyle taşımanın oksidan-antioksidan sistem üzerine etkisinin
belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Çalışmada toplam 60 adet Akkaraman ırkı toklu kullanıldı. Hayvanlar dört eşit gruba ayrılarak
kontrol grubundaki hayvanlar taşınmazken deneme grubundakiler ise 5 (grup I), 10 (grup II) ve 24 (grup III) saat süreyle
taşındı. Kontrol grubu ve taşınan hayvanlardan taşıma sonrası kan örnekleri alınarak oksidatif stres parametreleri değerlendirildi.
Kontrol grubuna göre 10 ve 24 saat süreyle taşınan hayvanlarda malondialdehit (MDA) ve nitrik oksit (NO) düzeyleri
ile süperoksit dismutaz (SOD) ve glutatyon peroksidaz (GPx) aktivitelerinin daha yüksek (p < 0.05) olduğu belirlendi. Katalaz
aktivitesi ise taşımadan etkilenmedi (p > 0.05). Kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldığında 5 saat süreyle taşıma oksidatif stres
parametrelerinde önemli bir değişiklik oluşturmadı. Sonuç olarak, koyunlarda 10 ve 24 saat süreyle taşımanın oksidatif stres
oluşturabileceği belirlendi.
