Çocuk Edebiyatı Metinleriyle Kurgulanan Yaratıcı Drama Etkinliklerinin Konuşma Becerilerine Etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Türkçe öğretiminde, çocuk edebiyatı
metinleriyle kurgulanan yaratıcı drama etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin
konuşma becerilerine etkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlamıştır. Araştırma
nicel ve nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden oluşan karma model ile
yapılandırılmıştır. Çalışma, deney grubunda 18, kontrol grubunda 22
öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 44 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Nicel
verilere, “Konuşma Becerisi Puanlama Anahtarı” ölçme aracı ile
ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen nicel veriler SPSS programında
çözümlenmiştir. Diğer taraftan, nitel veriler öğrenciler ve öğretmen ile
yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilmiştir. Görüşme formu ile ortaya
çıkan nitel veriler, içerik analizi yoluyla çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma
verilerinden elde edilen bulgulara göre, deney grubunda uygulanan
çocuk edebiyatı metinleriyle kurgulanan yaratıcı drama etkinliklerinin,
kontrol grubunda uygulanan öğretmen kılavuz, öğrenci ders ve
çalışma kitaplarına dayalı etkinliklere göre öğrencilerin konuşma
becerilerini istatistiksel olarak anlamlı derecede arttırdığı
görülmüştür.

Abstract

This study aimed to demonsrate the effect of creative drama activities Set Up With Child Literature Texts on Speaking Skills. The research was developed with mixed model which consist of qualitative and quantitative methods. The study was conducted with 44 students; 20 of whom from experimental group and 24 from control group. Quantitative data includes measurement tools which are “Speaking skill rating key” and “Composition (Writing expression) Assessment”. The data collected was analysed by using SPSS program. On the other hand, the qualitative data was obtained from the interviews conducted with students and the teacher. Qualitative data for interview schedule was anayzed by content analysis method. Based on the analysis of data, it was observed that the creative drama activities set up with child literature texts applied in experimental group increased the students’ writing and speaking skills significantly compared to the activities based on teacher guide and students lesson and study books applied in control group. Besides, the data obtained from the interviews conducted with the teacher and students support the findings. In the light of the results obtained from the study, Turkish teaching should be shifted from a teaching based on the elementary course books to an efficient teaching method like creative drama with child literature texts
