Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, bireylerin kariyer uyum yeteneklerini belirlemek amacıyla geliştirilen Kariyer Uyum Yetenekleri Ölçeği Kısa Formu’ nun (KUYÖ-KF) Türkçeye uyarlanması kapsamında, ölçeğin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmasını yapmaktır. 684 lisans öğrencisinden oluşan bir çalışma grubu üzerinde uygulamalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Türkçeye uyarlaması yapılan özgün ölçeğin geliştirilmesi aşamaları dikkate alınarak KUYÖ-KF'nun geçerlik çalışmaları kapsamında madde-toplam puan korelasyonu, dil eşdeğerliği, yapı geçerliği için doğrulayıcı faktör analizi, ölçüt dayanaklı geçerlik ve cinsiyete göre ölçme değişmezliği incelenirken; ölçeğin güvenirliğini tespit etmek için Cronbach’ın alfa iç tutarlık katsayısı hesaplanmış ve orta ile yüksek düzeyde ilişkiler bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular, KUYÖ-KF’nin Türkçe formunun üniversite öğrencilerinin kullanılabilmesi için yeterli geçerlik ve güvenirlik düzeyinde olduğunu göstermektedir.

Adaptation of Career Adapt-Abilities Scale Short Form (CAAS-SF) to Turkish: Validity and Reliability Study

Year 2021, Volume: 54 Issue: 1, 91 - 116, 01.04.2021

Abstract

The aim of this study is to carry out the validity and reliability study of the scale within the scope of adaptation of the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale Short Form (CAAS-SF), which is developed for determining career adaptation skills of the individuals, to Turkish. Studies are applied to a research group involving 648 undergraduate students. Item-total point correlation, linguistic equivalence, confirmatory factor analysis for construct validity, validity based on criterion and measurement invariance by gender are examined within the scope of CAAS-SF’s validity studies by taking the developmental steps of the original scale which is adapted into consideration; and, Cronbach’s alpha internal consistency coefficients are calculated medium and high. The findings obtained show that the Turkish form of CAAS-SF is at the level of validity and reliability for the use of university students
