Abstract

important factor shaping the individual’s world, and affecting and guiding the morals, history ofsociety, its social and cultural fabric. Thus, the religious education science plays an important rolein understanding such an important factor in a sound way and making use of it. ReligiousEducation system of Afghanistan is of religious based one. The main target of education is to raisea religious citizen. The religious education in Afganistan is executed in formal and informal ways.It is only the Faculties of Shariât that make religious education in higher education. Apart fromthe Faculties of Shariât, the religious education in other higher education institutions is carriedout under the name of Islamic Culture1 course. The aim of this article is to examine with in thefame of the place of religious education in religious education of Afghanistan the religiouseducation in higher education with the exemplary of Kabul University in terms of institution,process, activity and product
