This study focuses on the future of the welfare state by examining policies, practices, and perspectives in countries such as Germany and the United States. The welfare state is defined as a system in which the government implements various social policies and programs aimed at enhancing social welfare, ensuring economic security, and improving the quality of life for its citizens. The study first delves into the origins and fundamental principles of the welfare state, then analyzes its evolution in the United States and Germany. It proceeds by comparing the welfare state policies of both countries, discussing how these policies function and the reasons for their differences. Finally, the study evaluates the future of the welfare state in light of demographic, economic, and technological changes, addressing perspectives on sustainability and transformation. The aim of this study is to contribute to the discussions on the future of the welfare state and to provide a deep understanding of policies and practices in different countries.
Bu çalışma, refah devletinin geleceği üzerine odaklanarak Almanya ile Amerika Birleşik Devletleri gibi ülkelerdeki politika, pratik ve perspektifler üzerine bir inceleme sunmaktadır. Refah devleti, devletin sosyal refahı artırmak, ekonomik güvenliği sağlamak ve vatandaşların yaşam kalitesini yükseltmek amacıyla çeşitli sosyal politikalar ve programlar uyguladığı bir sistem olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Çalışma, öncelikle refah devletinin kökenleri ve temel ilkeleri üzerinde durmakta, ardından Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve Almanya'da refah devletinin evrimini analiz etmektedir. Daha sonra, her iki ülkedeki refah devleti politikalarını karşılaştırmalı bir şekilde inceleyerek, bu politikaların nasıl işlediği ve farklılıkların nedenlerini tartışmaktadır. Son olarak, demografik, ekonomik ve teknolojik değişimler ışığında refah devletinin geleceğini değerlendirerek, sürdürülebilirlik ve dönüşüm perspektiflerini ele almaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, refah devletinin geleceği konusundaki tartışmalara katkıda bulunmak ve farklı ülkelerdeki politika ve uygulamaların derinlemesine anlaşılmasını sağlamaktır.
