Bugiin ser tedavisinde secim SV-A-GD, TV-D ve PHV arasinda olmaktadir. SG mortalitesi yuksek, yan etkileri cok ve yiiksek oldugu igin, SV-D teknigi daha zor ve sonuclar1 TV-D'den ¢ok fazla farkh olmadigi igin kullanim alanindan cikmuislardir. SV-A-GD uygun vakalarda kullanildiginda mortalitesinin cok düsuk olmasi, niks sansinin yok denecek kadar az olmasi, yan etkileri ve uzun stireli metabolik etkilerinin nisbeten az olmasi nedeniyle duodenum ülseri cerrahi tedavisinde 6nemli bir yere sahiptir.

The choice lies between SV-A-GD, TV-D and HSV. SG and SV-D should both now be regarded as absolete. SV-A-GD has a significantly lower operative mortality and associated with a significantly lower incidence of recurrent ulceration. Side effects are.relatively less common. SV-A-GD is highly effective in curing duodenal ulcer.
