Fifteen boys between 2-12 years of age with unilateral or bilateral cryptorchidism were treated with 200 lig LH-RH pernasally six times daily for 4 weeks. Boys with retractile testes were not studied. Complete descent occured in four, improved position attained in 2 patients. The complete and incomplete succes-ratios were 26.6 M 70 and 13.3 % in our patients respectively. No adverse side effects have been Radioimmunologic measurement of serum luteinizing hormone (LH), follicule stimulating hormone (FSH) , testesteron and hCG stimulation test were carried out before treatment. We found normal testicular function after stimulation of testes.

Yaşları 2 - 1 yıl arasında değişen unilateral ya da bilateral kriptorşitizmli 15 hasta günde 6 kez 200 ug. intranasal LH - RH uygulanması ile 4 hafta tedavi edildi. Retraktil testisi olan çocuklar çalışmaya alınmadı. Olgulardan 4'ünde komplet iniş sağlandı. İki olguda tesüsler fizyolojik yerleşimine indi ve tam yanıt % 26.6, kısmi yanıt ise % 13.3 olarak belirlendi. Tedavi ile ilgili herhangi bir yan etki gözlenmedi. Tedavi öncesi dönemde tüm hastalarda LH, FSH testosteron düzeyleri, hCG'ne testosteron cevabı denetlendi. Hastalarda uyarıya testiktiler yanıt normal düzeylerde bulundu.
