A.Ü.T.F. Nöroşirürji Anabilim Dalı'nda 1965 - 1987 yılları arasında opere edilmiş 74 spinal meningioma vakasının retrospektif analizi verilmiştir. Hastaların yaşı, cinsi, tümör lokalizasyonu ve klinik gösterimleri literatür ile uyumlu bulunmuştur. Hastaların analizi sonucunda; erken dönemde teşhis edilen spinal meningioma vakalarında başanlı bir cerrahi ile, geç dönemde teşhis edilenlerde ise cerrahiyi takiben hemen yapılan yeterli bir rehabilitasyon programı ile hastaların tama yakın iyileşebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

A review is presented of 74 cases of spinal meningioma. Age, sex, turnor location, and clinical presentation are similar to that reported by others. Analyses of the data collected indicated that early diagnosis may prevent irreversible neurological deficit and enhances the change for full recovery after operation.
