Results of Estracyt Treatment in Advanced Prostate Cancer

Twenty-five patients with prostate cancer, mostly in stage «D», were treated with i.v. and oral Estracyt. Daily doses of i.v. 300 mg and oral 700 mg (2 +3 capsules) were administered: Average treatment duration was 10 months, maximum 18 months. Rapid regression of bone pain and improvement of general condition were noted. Also high serum acid phosphatase level was mostly improved. Oral administration facilitates ambulatory treatment. Estracyt treatment was found to be worth considering in C and D stage prostate cancers.

Ekserisi «D» evresinde olan prostat kanserli 25 hasta i.v. ve oral Estracyt ile tedavi edildi. Günlük doz olarak i.v. 300 mg. ve oral 700 mg. (2 +3 kapsül) uygulandı: Ortalama tedavi süresi 10 ay, maksimal 18 ay oldu. Kemik ağrılarının süratle gerilemesi ve genel durumun düzelmesi dikkat içekmekteydi. Ayrıca yüksek serum asit fosfataz seviyesi de ekseriya düzeldi. Oral uygulama ambulant tedaviyi kolaylaştırmaktadır. C ve D evresindeki prostat kanserllrinde Estracyt tedavisi metetmeye değer bulunmuştur.
