1974 - 1979 tarihleri arasmda 221 hasta mekanik ileus nedeniyle tedavi edil 221 hastamn 192 si konservatif ve cerrahi tedaviyi takiben fa bulmuşur. 8 hasta tedavileri devam etmekte iken hastaneden ve takipleri yapflmaml$lr. Ameliyat edilen 157 hastadan 23 tinde çeştli komplikasyonlar meydana gelmi}. 221 hastallk toplam seride % mortalitemiz vardlr

221 patients have been treated for mechanical intestinal obstruction from 1974 to 1979. 192 of 221 patients have recovered after conservative measures and surgical approach. 8 patients cannot be followed. Various complications appear in 23 of 157 operated patients. Total mortality was 9.5 percent in these series.
