Cinsiyet dağılımının oranı erkek lehine 3&#039;e 1&#039;dir. En sık görüldüğü tümör dördüncü on yıldır.

The ratio of the distribution &#039;of the sex is 3 to I in favour of male- The tumour where it.&#039;s most frequently seen, is the fourth decade. The histologic diagnosis of thymomas is distributed as fol„ Iows : 4 Lymphocytic type (36%), 5 Epitheliai typp (45%), I Mixt type (Lymphoid-Epithelial) and I Granulomatous type The difference betveen the names and description about the thymoma.s come from the mixt cellular composition of the tumor and from the different elements of the thymus itseif. The classification used in our series is based on Lattes {24) .Current view for malignant thymomas are invasive in nature and they may be encapsulated or they may not.Another difficufty is to diagnose a thymorna i,vhether it&#039;s granuk)rnatous type or Hodgkin&#039;s Disease. The description of granulomatous type thymoma needs some limitations such as the location in thymus itself; v:ithout any evidence of invasion of peripheral lymph nodes, and PAS positive material in Sternberg-Dorothy-Reed cells must have been thought epithelial in origin.</p></trans-abstract>
