Two Mushroom Poisoning at Uşak and ÇorumIn the month of May of 1972, in Çorumlu-Çiftlik Village 11, and in the city of Uşak 3 citizens lost their liver because of the poisonous mushrooms they have eaten.At the end of the studies made by our department, on the mushrooms collected from that region, the species of poisonous and edible mushrooms have been determined.1- The poisonous mushroom collected from Çiftlik Village areAmanita verna (Bull. ex Fr.) Pers. ex Vitt.Agaricus xanthoderma Gen.we collected from same area an edible mushroom Agaricus campester L. ex Fr.2- The poisonous collected from Uşak-Ulubey_Omurca village isInocybe fastigiata (Sshff. ex Fr.) Quél We collected the same area an edible mushroomAmanita alba Gill. Which look like the poisonous species. We made tests on the rats utilizing the species of the poisonous mushroom collected from the both regions.Amanita verna which is the one of the mushroom determined couses the eater to show the symptom pf poisoning 5-48 hours after taken. The classical method of first-aid may be unsuccesfull.The poisonous mushroom garicus xanthoderma Gen. and Inocybe fastigiatal (Schff. ex Fr.) Quél show the poisonous effect 1/4-2 hours after taken and the patient can be saved by the first-aid.
Uşak ve Çorum'da İki Mantar Zehirlenmesi1972 Mayıs ayında, Çorum İli Sungurlu İlçesi Çiftlik köyünde 11, Uşak İli İlçe ve Köylerinde 3 vatandaşımız yedikleri mantarlarla zehirlenerek hayatlarını kaybetmişlerdir.Kürsümüzün bu Bölgelerden topladığı mantarlar üzerinde yaptığı araştırmalar sonunda, zehirlenmelere sebep olan mantar türleriyle karıştırılabilen yenen mantar türleri tesbit edildi. 1- Çiftlik köyünde bulunan zehirli mantarlar:Amanita verna (Bull. ex Fr.) Pers. ex Vitt zehirli Agaricus xenthoderma Gen. Zehirli Bu zehirli mantarlarla karıştırılan yenen mantar Agaricus campester L. ex Fr. 2- Uşak İli Ulubey İlçesi Omurca köyünde tesbit edilen zehirli mantar:Inocybe fastigiata (Schff. ex Fr.) Quél. Zehirli. Bu mantar yenen Amanita alba Gill. ile karıştırılmıştır.Her iki bölgeden toplanan zehirli mantar numuneleri ile fareler üzerinde denemeler yapıldı.Tesbit edilen mantarlardan Amanita verna yenildikten sonra 5-48 saat sonra zehirlenme belirtileri gösterir. Bu zehirlenmelerde klasik ilk yardım metodu fayda vermeyebilir. Agaricus xenthoderma ve Inocybe fastigiata zehirli mantarları yenildikten sonra 1/4-2 saat içerisinde zehirlenme belirtileri gösterir ve ilk yardımla hasta kurtarılabilir.
