The Evaluation of the Presurgical and Postsurgical Cephalometric Examination in Progeny Operations In this paper the presurgical and postsurgical cephalometric examination in progeny operations have been evaluated.It was decided that the situation of progeny could be corrected better by surgical attempts than orthodontic methods, as the initial results of cephalometric studies have suggested to us. Therefore the method of Kostecka was used.The cephalometric studies have proved the results obtained by surgical operations in progeny cases

Bu çalışmada progenie ameliyatlarında pre-operatif ve post-operatif sefalometrik muayenenin değerlendirilmesi yapıldı.Başlangıçta yapılan sefalometrik tetkik ile elde edilen ortalamaların görünümüne göre progenie durumunun ortodontik usullerden ziyade cerrahi müdahale ile düzeleceğine karar verilerek Kostecka metodu uygulandı.Progenie vakasında cerrahi müdahale ile elde edilen iyi neticeleri sefalometrik tetkikler de doğruladı.
