Hekim insan olarak hatadan uzak değildir. Ne var ki hataları hastasına çeşitli yönden zararlar verdiği taktirde hekim-hasta ilişkileri bozulacak, dolayısı ile hekim için bazen tamiri imkansız kötü sonuçlar doğabilemektir.Urolojide cerrahi hatalar isimli konumuzu işlerken gerek -Urologların gerekse cerrah, jinekolog ve nöroşirürjiyenlerin cerrahi müdaheleler esnasında veya sonunda karşılaşmaları beklenen komplikasyon ve hataları derlemeyi bu konuda meslekdaşlarımız icin ufak bir uyarı olması düşüncesi ile hazırladık. Derlememizin sonunda teşhissiz eksplorasyon sonucu transneritoneal olarak teessüs etmiş bir üriner fistül vak'asını ve vak'anın sonuçlarını takdim ettik.
The physician, as a human being, is by all means not infallible. However, if his errors harn the patient in mayn ways, physician-patient relations will be impaired and thus some very undesirable consequences will ensue.While dealing with our topic entitled «surgical errors in Urology» we thought it would be proper to point to the complications and errors which the Urologist as well as the surgeon, gynecologist and neurosurgeon may encounter during and after surgical interventions. At the end of this review; a case of urinary fistula which developed transperitoneall as a result of exploration unprecedented by diagnosis, and the consequences were presented.
