<p>In order to corelate radiological classification and ventilatory function results of the lung, 80 cases of pneumoconiosis has been studied by clinicalIy, radiologically and physiologicalIy. Depending on their radiological findings 80 patients are divided into two groups. 21 cases of complicated pneumoconiosis in the first group showed less ventilatory function defects then the 59 cases simple pneumoconiosis which had phisiological evidence of air - way obstruction. This controversial results may probably be due to the superimposed chronic bronchitis as well as patients incorporation of tests measuremenis. The results of these studies showed that there ise no definite correlation between radiological findings and ventilatory function studies. But independent of the radiological classifications a directiy proportional correlation between the duration of dust exposition and functional disability has been found as a result.</p></trans-abstract>

Tıp Fakültesi Göğüs Hastalıkları Kliniğinde yatarak tetkik edilen 80 vak&#039;a incelenmiştir.
