Twenty patients with trace proteinuria were studied in the Department cf Medicine cf Ankara Medical School from 1963 to 1973 by percutanecus kidney biopsy. Of these patients, 4 had chronic glomerulonephritis, 2 acute glomerulonephritis, 2 membronous glomerulonephritis and 8 showed minimal changes.The remanining 4 cases were diagnosed as follows: nephrosclerosis, analgesic nephropathy, subacute glomerulonephritis, toxic nephropathy. The problems asscciated with establishing a correct diagnosis in patients with trace proteinuria are discussed. Our Tesults showed that percutanecus renal biopsy is the only procedure with diagnostic value in these patients.

Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi İç Hastalıkları Kliniğinde 1963 ile 1973 yılları arasında idrarında eser proteinüri olan 20 vaka perkütan böbrek iğne biyopsisi ile incelendi. Bu vakaların ünde kronik glomerülonefrit, 2'sinde akut glomerulonefrit, 2'sinde membranöz glomerulonefrit teşhisi konuldu, 8 vakada minimal histolojik değişiklikler vardı ve geriye kalan 4 vakanın tanısı sıra ile nefroskleroz, analjezik böbreği, subakut glomerolonefrit ve toksik nefropati idi. Eser proteinürili vakaların doğru tanısında ortaya çıkan problemler tartışıldı. Bizim neticelerimiz, bu tip hastalarda böbrek biyopsisinin yegâne tanı vasıtası olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.
